Job summary

Blink Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for an onsite role in Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include data entry for electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions, and serving as primary contact for provider communications.

Requirements include at least 6 months of tech experience, active PA license or willingness to obtain, and PTCB/NHA certification. Strong phone skills, accuracy, and ability to learn new software are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months prior Pharmacy Technician, or similar industry experience.
• PTCB or NHA certification required prior to joining.
• Must hold an active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain and have it approved prior to start date.
• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations

Responsibilities

• Process data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions per Blink protocols, with a focus on complex and higher-difficulty entries
• Serve as point of contact for provider/physician communications, handling both outbound and inbound calls
• Accept inbound provider calls through warm transfers, ensuring call context is established prior to acceptance; patient calls are not currently part of this role, responsibilities are subject to change as business needs evolve
• Resolve open issues submitted by a variety of departments, including pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
• Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner consistent with corporate policies and State and Federal laws
• Other duties as assigned in the Pharmacy Technician role
