Job summary

UHP in Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain our 800+ acre campus and support students, staff, and guests. You will mow, edge, prune, mulch, and keep outdoor spaces ready for daily operations and events.

Join a mission-driven team that serves veterans and emphasizes safety and high standards. This onsite role offers Monday–Friday schedules with occasional evenings or weekends as campus needs arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance.
• Familiarity with landscaping equipment and basic irrigation.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns and green spaces (mowing, edging, weed control, fertilization).
• Care for landscaping (planting, pruning, mulching, soil conditioning).
• Prepare outdoor areas for changing weather and events.
• Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Monitor irrigation systems and perform basic repairs.
• Support minor hardscape work (paths, outdoor areas).
• Seasonal campus clean-ups and weather-related prep.
