Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks a CAD Drafter for Elkton, MD, on-site, to create 2D drawings and 3D models for product, tooling and testing components. This is a 6+ month contract with onsite work and a pay rate of $25-32/hr W2.

The ideal candidate has strong CAD skills and hands-on drafting experience in a fast-paced environment. Onsite-only role requiring US citizenship, with responsibilities spanning drafting, revisions, and ensuring drawings meet engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience CAD Drafting and modeling.
• GD&T and ASME standards experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, lays out, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Utilizes CAD equipment, NX; produces production detail drawings.
• Contributes design modifications to improve quality and manufacturability.
