Job summary
Evident Scientific in State College, PA is seeking a Documentation Control Engineer / CAD Drafter to update branding-driven engineering documents and drawings onsite. You will handle ECNs, maintain BOMs, and ensure conformance to document control standards.
The ideal candidate brings solid CAD drafting experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Production Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with controlled documentation.
- Experience creating or revising engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Experience supporting ECNs and document control processes.
- Experience with drafting revisions and maintaining BOMs and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Update engineering documentation and drawings to reflect branding changes.
- Create, review, and release controlled engineering documentation.
- Process ECNs and engineering documentation updates.
- Translate red-lined drawings into finalized controlled docs.
- Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to draft and revise drawings.
- Collaborate with Production Engineering to implement changes.
