Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years of procurement/purchasing experience.
• Data analysis, inventory management, procurement processes, and supply chain technologies.
• Procurement software skills such as SAP/SCV/ARIBA.
• Effective communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of supply chain processes and purchasing strategies.
• Knowledge of inventory management and logistics.
• Familiarity with contract management and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and terms of purchase under supervision; manage non-strategic suppliers.
• Quote materials; procure materials, components, equipment and services at lowest cost while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Expedite and ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Lead purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering to maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain records; negotiate vendor contracts when appropriate.
