Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking a Business Operations Consultant/Project Director to partner with owner-led businesses, delivering measurable improvements in operations, cash flow, and profitability. This role requires on-site work with clients across industries and a willingness to travel 100% domestically.

You will lead engagements, coach client teams, and ensure sustainable value through disciplined execution, financial controls, and leadership in change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of consulting experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to travel onsite 100% to client sites.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated fiduciary responsibility and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quantifiable, sustainable value reflected in financial statements and cash flow.
• Identify and communicate work to be completed; coordinate with senior leadership.
• Coach owners and client teams; ensure long-term adherence to improvements.
