Programmres (Client) seeks a Board Level Technician onsite in San Jose, CA to support engineers on embedded and automotive systems. You will handle test setups, build and repair boards, and manage hardware/firmware upgrades in a lab environment.

Requirements include an AS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 3–5 years of PCBA validation experience, plus familiarity with Linux commands and English communication. This is a full-time onsite role with benefits.

Formación

• AS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of PCBA and system product setup and validation experience.
• Experience with embedded/automotive motherboard platforms and Linux commands.
• Hardware/firmware upgrades management experience.
• Strong English communication and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Support engineers working on embedded and automotive system products across lab build and validation activities.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including unpacking and packing of systems.
• Build, help debug, and repair boards and embedded/automotive platform products in the lab.
• Set up test programs, run test suites, and collect and analyze results.
• Manage hardware and firmware upgrades across embedded and automotive hardware platforms.
