Job summary

Elevation Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Hospital Based Bilingual Patient Advocate to guide uninsured patients through Medicaid and financial assistance in a hospital setting in Bryan, TX. This full-time onsite role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and compassionate patient interaction.

The Advocate will complete applications, document cases in MPower and hospital systems, and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely eligibility determinations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Fluent English and Spanish required for patient interactions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and Outlook.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changing processes.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside to determine eligibility for federal/state programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approved.
• Document cases accurately in MPower and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and case managers to assist patients.
