Job summary

UCHealth in Fort Collins is seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide triage, assessment and treatment to patients and families. This onsite role involves counseling in individual and group settings, discharge planning, and coordination with the care team.

The position requires a Master’s degree and state licensure (LCSW/LPC/MFT/ACD) with 0–2 years' experience preferred. A structured career ladder offers growth and pay progression.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• State licensure as LCSW, LPC, MFT, or ACD, or other approved licensure.
• Minimum Experience: None Required; Preferred: 2 years' relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements counseling/therapy for assigned patients in both individual and group settings.
• Interviews and assesses patients and/or family, caregivers, and/or legal representatives.
• Determines, provides and/or arranges for needed internal and external services/interventions; participates in care conferences.
• Assists with discharge planning and coordinates community resources as part of the discharge plan.
• Teaches and trains staff, students and interns as assigned.
• Works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and exercises decisive judgement.
