Job summary

Actalent is seeking Test Operator Technicians for a contract role based in Milford, MI. You will set up vehicles on the test site, drive test vehicles, follow instructions, and record results while applying basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. On-site work is required with a 2nd shift, for 1 year or more.

Automotive experience and trade school credentials are preferred. The position offers a structured path for entry-level technicians with supervision and opportunities to learn across

Qualifications

• Open to working 2nd Shift for 1 year+
• Must be able to work on site each day
• Automotive industry experience (Preferred)
• Trade school associate degree or certification (Preferred)
• Diploma or GED is required
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship leadership skills
• Emerging partnership and teamwork skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Setting vehicle on test site and driving the test vehicle (Could be one vehicle all day, or running 5+ tests a day (depends on the projects that are running)
• Follow test instructions
• Record test results
• Utilize mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
