Job summary
AllSearch Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Automation Technician for a plastics manufacturing client in Lodi, CA. This on-site role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining packaging equipment, robots, and downstream automation systems to keep production flowing.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, hands-on robot maintenance in a plastics injection molding environment, and ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in plastics injection molding environment.
- Hands-on robot maintenance experience in plastics automation.
- Ability to read electrical wiring and pneumatic schematics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and electrical issues on packaging equipment, robots, and downstream automation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on 3-axis robots and related components.
- Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical circuits using a multimeter and interpret schematics.
- Assist with installation, removal, maintenance of manufacturing equipment and robotics.
- Provide detailed reports on equipment performance to supervisors.
