Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Case Management Authorization Specialist to review financial/insurance information to ensure reimbursement for services. This on-site role in Hartford requires local residency and a full-time schedule.

You will authorize inpatient admissions, assist in denial resolution, and support the Utilization Coordinator team using data, system reports, and analytics to optimize revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1–2 years healthcare experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years healthcare experience.
• Medical billing or insurance authorization experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication required.

Responsibilities

• Authorize and manage denials for inpatient admissions.
• Identify, report, and resolve issues in authorization/denial processes.
• Support Case Management Utilization Coordinator team with data, reports, and analytics.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize authorization and denials for revenue integrity.
