SteveRecruiter, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Manager, Process Engineering onsite. You will lead a sizable team of manufacturing engineers and technicians, guiding cross-functional product transfers from design to production and driving continuous improvement in a medical device setting.

You bring a BS in mechanical engineering, 10+ years in process/manufacturing engineering, and 3+ years of leadership. Hands-on with CMMs, vision systems, profilometers, GD&T and data analytics will keep you

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
10+ years in process or manufacturing engineering.
3+ years leading an engineering team.
Experience with machining and new product introduction.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Serve as primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional new product teams.
Drive design transfer of new products into production, in-house and with suppliers.
Provide design for manufacturability input and communicate process limits to design teams.
Guide process capability assessments and implement process improvements.
Design and develop processes, tooling, fixturing and automation.
Write and review process validation protocols and reports.
Ensure documentation meets quality system requirements (BOMs, routers, FMEAs).
Own deliverables tied to CAPA, project management and quality systems.
Plan and lead manufacturing technical reviews and oversee development builds.
Participate in lean reviews and Kaizen events and contribute to IP submissions.
