Sora Resource Group is looking for a Manager of Process Engineering in Austin, TX to lead a skilled team in moving products from design to production. You will serve as the process expert on cross-functional teams, drive design transfer to production, and implement process improvements with a hands-on, player-coach approach.

You will guide DFMs, coordinate validation and CAPA activities, and ensure compliance with quality systems while accelerating development builds and supplier transfers.

Formación

• 10+ years in process/manufacturing engineering required.
• 3+ years leading an engineering team.
• Machining background required.
• NPI experience.
• Hands-on with CMMs, vision systems and profilometers.
• Strong GD&T and data analysis skills (Minitab preferred).
• FMEA risk assessment experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Be the primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional teams.
• Drive transfer of new products into production, in-house and with suppliers.
• Provide DFM input on prints and communicate process limits to design teams.
• Guide process capability assessments and implement improvements.
• Design and develop processes, tooling, fixturing and automation.
• Write and review process validation protocols and reports.
• Ensure documentation meets quality system requirements (BOMs, routers, FMEAs).
• Own deliverables tied to CAPA, PM and quality systems.
• Plan and lead manufacturing technical reviews and development builds.
• Participate in lean reviews and Kaizen events; contribute to IP submissions.
