Job summary

Ramp Health in Saline, MI is hiring an Athletic Trainer to support our on-site client’s safety and injury prevention needs. You will evaluate conditions, respond to emergencies, and provide case management and clinical support to employees.

Responsibilities include on-site emergency response, injury prevention coaching, and delivering education to individuals or groups. CPR/First Aid certification is required; the role requires independent work, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong

Qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification is required.
• Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Exceptional verbal skills and ability to meet, greet, speak, and positively represent.
• Outgoing and personable, able to work independently, and must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Nice to have: CPR/AED Instructor Certification; 1+ years coaching experience in fitness, promotions or nutrition; Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office and EMR/SOAP data entry; Experience using Motivational Interviewing methodologies; Able to take manual blood pressure.

Responsibilities

• Onsite emergency response.
• OSHA First Aid for minor onsite injuries.
• Provide injury prevention, education, and treatment to employees on an individual or group basis as to enhance the quality of life and safety of the individual.
• Coaching directed towards the human aspect of wellness, emphasizing personal motivation to improve behaviors, education, and awareness as it relates to injury prevention and safety.
• Active participation in established site-wide Emergency Response Team.
• Participate in regular site safety walks.
• Supply inspections including but not limited to AED, safety showers, spill kits etc.
• Help employees set goals, answer questions, and provide guidance and ongoing support through our proprietary coaching process.
