Job summary

Maxonic is seeking an Associate Test Engineer 2 in Milpitas, CA. This on-site contract role involves hands-on electro-mechanical testing, debugging, and report generation to support the client’s system-level requirements.

The candidate should have an AS degree or technical training, plus 5+ years of related experience, proficiency with oscilloscopes, DVMs, and test equipment, and the ability to work across teams with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Experience with systems development and testing including test specs and results.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level.
• Determine and may develop methods from blueprints and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems, and complete rework as needed.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.
• May assist in selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
