Job summary

Bishop & Co. is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist (Mid) to maintain accountability, visibility, and control of mission-critical IT assets and configuration items across a complex technology environment at Joint Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay.

The role requires an Active Secret Security Clearance and is a Full-Time W2 contract onsite in Hawaii, with pay at $34.00/hour. You will support SACM activities and ensure assets are tracked, documented, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Experience using logistics or asset management systems such as Remedy DPAS and GCSS-MC.
• Experience managing IT hardware, software, licenses, warranties, and related assets.
• Experience conducting inventory reconciliation, asset audits, and record management.
• Ability to work onsite at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe and reside in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Track, inventory, and manage IT assets and configuration items (CIs).
• Receive, tag, deploy, relocate, and retire hardware assets.
• Maintain asset records within Configuration Management Systems (CMS) and CMDBs.
• Perform physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support asset lifecycle processes including setup, teardown, and disposition activities.
• Maintain records for software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and service contracts.
• Assist with IT asset procurement activities as needed.
• Support configuration management standards, naming conventions, and identification procedures.
• Coordinate with configuration, logistics, and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Help develop SACM documentation, procedures, and reporting.
• Participate in change control processes to address inventory and configuration discrepancies.
