Job summary

Connected Development, Auburn Hills, MI, seeks an Assembly Associate to support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electronics products and processes, contributing to safe, reliable production.

You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets, document test results, identify deviations, and help with root-cause investigations while maintaining an organized, compliant work area on site.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; related technical coursework preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
Familiarity with assembly processes and quality inspection methods.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly, testing, and inspection of products, subassemblies, and prototypes.
Operate equipment, tools, and test systems safely and effectively.
Support prototype builds, pilot production runs, and new product introductions.
Document test results, process observations, and production data accurately.
Identify and report nonconforming materials, products, and process deviations.
Assist Engineering and Quality with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
Additional duties as assigned.
