Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembly Operator (Production Associate) for the EODAS factory in McKinney, TX. The role is onsite and entails building next generation technology for the warfighter on a 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm). You will cross-train, pass certifications, and support daily production improvements.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing; U.S. citizenship is required. Experience with CMES or SAP is a plus, plus ability to work with PPE for long hours.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom environment, performing mechanical assembly using various tools and fasteners.
• Types of hardware include: machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies.
• Use chemicals and perform detailed hand manipulation with wire sleeving, solder, and bonding materials.
