Job summary

Tippmann Group is seeking a 3D Modeler + Visualization Artist to join the Construction Design team at our corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN. You will create detailed site and building designs, render architectural scenes, and collaborate with clients to refine options throughout the project lifecycle.

You will support preconstruction with realistic visualizations, animations, and real-time projects, applying BIM concepts and leading design discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer graphics technology or visual communication (or similar).
• Understanding and experience with 3D Modeling and BIM concepts.
• Proficiency with REVIT, SketchUp, 3DS Max or related modeling tech.
• Industrial facility design, engineering, construction experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, D5, Unreal etc.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Learn quickly and solve problems in multi-solution and ambiguous situations.
• Strong internal and external communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving decisions among a team.
• Track record of attention to detail and results-oriented work.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, works with limited supervision.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam.
• Ability to provide real-time meeting support via Teams and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 3D modeling software to develop detailed site and building designs.
• Modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and postproduction for architectural and interior scenes.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to modify design options.
• Support preconstruction and engineering teams through marketing and engineering processes.
• Serve as the 3D artist for stills, animations, and real-time projects.
• Ensure renders match project scope and update as design evolves.
• Coordinate with outside consulting firms.
