Job summary

TSR Consulting is seeking an AML SAR Writer to join our team in New Castle, DE. The role emphasizes AML investigations, SAR drafting, and end-to-end case management to produce clear, compliant narratives.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of AML or financial investigations experience, strong research skills, and advanced MS Word/Excel proficiency. This onsite role offers growth with a global client base. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; CAMS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years of AML or financial investigations experience, including transaction monitoring and customer review.
• Demonstrated SAR writing experience in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, FinCEN, and relevant SEC, FINRA, and FRB guidance. Strong research capability with online search tools and internal bank platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Effective writing, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and complete projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate system-generated and manual cases from sources such as EAP and Mantas in line with AML procedures.
• Document findings, compile case files, and maintain complete workpapers, including media search results and internal records.
• Conduct research using bank systems, the Internet, and third-party databases to resolve investigations.
• Collect and analyze statements, transaction data, and supporting documents to identify unusual patterns.
• Engage points of contact to obtain supplemental information needed to complete cases.
• Record research and analysis in the Case Management System with accuracy and completeness. Draft Suspicious Activity Reports and recommend relationship retention or termination, tracking account closures as required.
• Liaise with CRIU units, ACRM, Business partners, CSIS, FIU Legal, Trade Surveillance, and Law Enforcement as appropriate.

Job Description

We are seeking an Application Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team supporting Corporate Channels, Payments, Accounting Services, Commercial Card, and related domains within Global Payment Solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial banking technology, payments and cash management, and modern application architecture, and a proven ability to define end-to-end solution designs that align with enterprise standards and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Define architectural vision and solution architecture aligned with business strategy, enterprise principles, and platform standards.
• Articulate solution intent, operating environment, primary systems and interfaces, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and assess the impact of design decisions.
• Partner with business and technology teams to shape solution intent and architectural vision across a global portfolio.
• Develop high-level designs rapidly and refine as requirements evolve, ensuring modular, flexible, and adaptable architectures.
• Apply best practices, templates, and documentation standards to produce clear architectural deliverables.
• Partner with Product Managers/Owners to plan and prioritize technology backlog items for the architecture runway.
• Provide guidance to development teams on architectural aspects and offer solution options to remove impediments.
• Conduct design reviews to confirm security, performance, scalability, usability, reliability, and other non-functional
• Operate as an individual contributor within a collaborative environment across the US, EMEA, and APAC

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years in Banking/Financial Services technology with strong domain knowledge in Corporate Payments, Commercial Card, Corporate Channels, Accounting Services, and Liquidity Management.
• Proficiency in modern application architecture including APIs, microservices, and integration platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and broad IT knowledge across financial software, middleware, and databases.
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into multiple architectural views and drive shared service strategies and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• TOGAF 9 certification.
• Cloud Solutions Architect certification on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
