Job summary

McPherson Center for Health is seeking an Admitting Representative (Onsite) to guide patients through pre-registration, registration, and check-in processes. You will collect demographic and financial information, greet callers, and direct requests to the proper departments.

The role requires strong customer service, basic clerical skills, and the ability to work onsite in a fast-paced hospital environment. Training on Medicare/Medicaid and insurance will be provided within the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Ability to commute/relocate to onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with pre-registration, registration, and check-in.
• Capture accurate demographic and financial information.
• Greet callers and route questions to appropriate departments.
• Support PBX tasks and clerical duties as assigned.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
