Job summary

Charlie Health is seeking a Clinical Admissions Therapist to join our Bakersfield, CA on-site team. You will meet clients at admission, build rapport, and complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine treatment needs.

The role requires independent licensure in a mental health field, experience assessing a wide age range, and strong communication. You will collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, and Clinical teams to support confidential telehealth services and regulatory

Qualifications

• On-site role in Bakersfield, CA, Monday–Friday 9 AM–5 PM.
• Experience with biopsychosocial assessments across ages.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with clients and referrals.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for a wide range of ages.
• Determine eligibility for virtual IOP level of care.
• Document in EMR per regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams.
• Collaborate with hospitals and clinics on admission.
