Job summary

Charlie Health is seeking a Clinical Admissions Therapist to work on-site in our Bakersfield, California office. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, establish treatment needs, and coordinate with admissions and clinical teams to determine IOP suitability.

The ideal candidate holds independent licensure in a mental health field, has experience with a wide age range, and will support a fast-paced telehealth-enabled care model while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be independently licensed in a mental health field.
• On-site work in Bakersfield, CA, Monday–Friday 9 AM–5 PM.
• Experience with diverse ages: children to adults preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-V criteria for provisional diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for clients of various ages.
• Determine eligibility for virtual IOP level of care.
• Document client information per regulatory standards in EMR.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams.
• Build rapport with clients and referral sources.
