University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach accounting on-site at CSM La Plata, Maryland. The role covers Principles of Accounting I–III, with emphasis on interpreting the accounting cycle, financial statements, and managerial applications.

The instructor will engage adult learners, integrate real-world examples, and uphold UMGC’s standards for student mentorship. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Accounting or related field, CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE

Formación

• Master's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution.
• Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE.
• Professional accounting experience in accounting or related field.
• Must have and be able to maintain their own legal status to teach in the country.

Responsabilidades

• Be visible in the classroom and drive discussions.
• Bridge theory with practical, real-world examples.
• Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment.
• Respond to inquiries, provide timely feedback, and post final grades on time.
• Monitor progress and refer students to UMGC support resources.
