Job summary

Workforce Unlimited is seeking a 3rd Shift Onsite Manager to lead evening production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and team engagement while managing large shifts and handoffs.

This hands-on role requires floor presence, the ability to adjust staffing and workflows in real time, and close collaboration with maintenance, quality, and management to meet production goals during high-output periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising teams in regulated manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards.
• Enforces safety, hygiene, PPE, and zone controls.
• Experience addressing equipment malfunctions and delays.
• Excellent documentation and audit-ready reporting.
• Onsite availability for 2nd shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 3rd shift teams (18–50+ employees) with accountability.
• Review goals and issues from other shifts for continuity.
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor.
• Adjust staffing, workflow, and labor allocation in real time.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management to ensure readiness.
• Apply lean practices to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Monitor performance, yields, and quality; stop production to investigate issues.
• Document safety, training, and quality records for audits.
• Address attendance and performance with private coaching.
• Support continuous improvement through standardized training.
