Job summary

Abbott is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for the 2nd shift in Westfield, IN. The role inspects final assemblies, reads blueprints, and uses precision gauges to verify product quality.

You will analyze failures, perform inspections, and document results to ensure compliance with cGMP and Abbott procedures. Responsibilities include interfacing with engineers on new product development, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and uses calipers, micrometers, gauges and other inspection equipment to inspect parts.
• Analyze failures and determine solutions.
• Perform in-process/final inspections and audits as required.
• Interface with engineers on new product development, inspections and Non-conformance results.
• Communicate ideas, problems and solutions to all levels of quality management in writing and orally.
• Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance inspection processes.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are traceable.
