Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift onsite at the GEIS Headquarters in Syracuse, NY. Relocation is not provided. The 2nd shift runs 1:30 PM–10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The expected annual salary range is $86,000 to $126,000, based on skills and experience. The role involves leading a work group, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and driving continuous improvement with lean methods.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for a work group within the plant.
• Track performance for safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost for their area.
• Act as first line contact between production employees and management and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct daily team stand-up meetings with department personnel.
• Represent the company when interacting with production employees on the shop floor.
• Drive and implement safety policies and programs, meet operating budgets, complete CI plans, and coach employees on behavior/performance.
• Monitor control plans, troubleshoot workmanship, and supervise production to meet quality requirements.
• Establish manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and monitor staff workloads to meet deadlines.
