Job summary

Tuknik Government Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Master Scheduling Coordinator to support the Scheduling Control Team at the client’s 24/7 central computer center. This role is onsite in Durham, NC, with potential for telework during emergencies and weather events.

Core duties include monitoring batch workloads on z/OS, coordinating emergency releases via BRPS/UCD, and communicating with internal staff and development teams to resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows and MS Office
• Experience in mainframe operating systems (TSO/ISPF) and batch scheduling software
• Proficiency in coordinating batch schedules and emergency changes
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve batch production issues
• Strong communication with internal T&S teams and clients

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch workloads on z/OS and distributed platforms
• Track and manage data exchange processes and file transfers
• Process batch production requests via MS/PRS
• Resolve batch production problems to ensure continuity
• Edit/override JCL as needed
• Coordinate emergency batch releases via BRPS/UCD
• Support data transmission to the agency and keep audit logs
