Job summary

Knowles Cornell Dubilier in Calexico, CA is seeking a 1st Shift Manufacturing Associate to support production of high‑performance capacitors and related components onsite. The role requires following work instructions, ensuring quality, and maintaining safety during a 1st shift schedule.

The position offers hourly pay, overtime per law, and benefits. Candidates should be able to operate equipment, perform measurements, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Basic math, counting and measuring with accurate recordkeeping.
• Operate or learn equipment, hand tools, inspection devices and data systems.
• Communicate effectively and report safety or quality concerns promptly.
• Work onsite with the described shift schedule and potential accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, hand tools and fixtures per work instructions.
• Assemble, process or package capacitors to specifications and production needs.
• Verify materials, part numbers and lot IDs and maintain traceability.
• Inspect products using visual checks and measurements and report nonconformities.
• Record quantities, scrap, inspections and downtime in systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and report safety or process deviations.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; maintain clean work area.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
