BCS Allegient is seeking a Junior Program Engineer to support the Office of Naval Research.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Program Manager with management and oversight of program objectives.
  • Coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, and technical reviews.
  • Maintain briefings and assist in coordinating input for data calls, including budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests, and budgetary drills.
  • Develop and maintain key documents and master plans incorporating relevant studies and analyses.
  • Support technical management of programs, including acquisition plan development, representing the government project manager when required, and assessing performance against technical objectives, costs, and schedules.
  • Update Task Planning Sheets, Mission Model Canvas sheets, quad sheets, Fact Sheets, and draft portfolio review slides to support program execution.
  • Assist in developing databases for tracking technical and programmatic milestones and deliverables.
  • Prepare program status reports and after-action reports post major reviews or events.
  • Support the preparation of draft briefing materials, meeting agendas, reports, correspondence, and action item tracking.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years in engineering, mathematics, or science fields such as biology, chemistry, computer science, or physics.
  • Recent experience in federal acquisition and budgeting.
  • Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analyses, and design activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DoD RDT&E program and budget exhibits, as well as RDT&E strategic plans.
