Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a licensed Special Education Elementary Teacher for Oklahoma Virtual Academy (OVCA). This virtual role focuses on delivering individualized instruction, managing IEP-driven services, and partnering with learning coaches and families to support student progress.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement, and can work independently from a home office while meeting typical school hours and 9-5 expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license
• Special Education endorsement and Oklahoma teaching certificate
• Ability to clear required background check

Responsibilities

• Provide required special education services per IEP team decisions
• Communicate with parents and related staff to coordinate therapies
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and state-required documents
• Facilitate and lead IEP meetings and collaboration sessions
• Modify Stride K12 lessons per IEP and ensure student inclusion
• Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress and inform instruction
• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences
• Maintain positive rapport with families and respond promptly
• Travel up to 20% for professional development and assessments
