Job summary

Abilene Christian University is seeking a qualified instructor to support online students in the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, guiding online discussions, and providing timely feedback.

The position requires a Master’s or higher in School Psychology, experience with online higher education, and strong communication skills. Training in Canvas and related platforms is provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction in online classroom environment.
• Facilitate class sizes up to 15 students.
• Place students in groups on Canvas for assignments/discussions.
• Provide timely answers to student inquiries about course material or academic matters.
• Be available for virtual meetings with students one-on-one or in group settings; hold a minimum of two office hours per week.
• Facilitate and grade all assignments in a timely manner (within 24-72 hours).
• Enter final course grades after consultation with lead faculty and/or program director by CSP deadline.
• Alert lead faculty or Program Director to student issues (performance or policy violations).
• Comply with policies in ACU Handbook, Faculty Guidelines, and College of Health and Behavioral Sciences requirements.
• Provide feedback to program director for program and course improvement.
• Participate in faculty meetings as able; complete training and credentialing as required.
• Other duties as assigned by lead faculty and/or Program Director.
