Job summary

Reading Partners (RP) and Community College of Denver (CCD) are seeking responsible, patient, motivated students to support Reading Partners one-on-one Online tutoring program.

Online Literacy Tutors use RP digital curriculum to work one-on-one with elementary students via the online tutoring platform, using video conferencing. Tutors can work from anywhere in the USA and will be paired with students at partner sites.

Qualifications

• Passionate about early literacy and supporting young learners.
• Maintain a positive, patient attitude toward learning, diversity, and students.
• Be open to feedback and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Reading Partners curriculum.
• Complete required tutor trainings.
• Commit to around 10 hours a week with a consistent schedule (Mon–Thu, ~8 am–3 pm).
• Goal is commitment through the full program year (through May/June).
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
