Online Physics Teachers - Part Time - Days- 25/26 School Year

Position Summary

Hudson Global Scholars is hiring part-time Physics teachers for the upcoming 2025/26 school year. Positions require daytime availability Monday through Friday. Teachers will deliver online instruction, support student learning, and monitor progress to help students achieve their academic goals.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provide live, synchronous instruction and asynchronous support.
  • Support a diverse student body, including international students.
  • Prepare for classes with appropriate technology and materials.
  • Follow communication procedures, grade within 24 hours, respond promptly to emails, and provide feedback.
  • Maintain order and enforce policies in the virtual classroom.
  • Collaborate with Mentor Teachers and Academic Managers.
  • Adhere to Hudson Global Scholars policies and ethical standards.
  • Optional: Teach in a Catholic faith-based program, respecting religious diversity and possibly learning Catholic teachings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited US university.
  • State teaching certification or relevant credentials preferred.
  • Minimum one year of online teaching experience preferred.
  • For Catholic religion classes: Bachelor's in Theology, practicing Catholic status, and Catechist certification preferred.
  • Flexible part-time schedule, including early mornings or late evenings.
  • Experience in lesson planning, student success strategies, and online teaching tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Computer requirements: 4GB PC or Mac, high-speed internet, supported browsers, and possibly Adobe software.
Compensation

Approximately $20 per hour.
