Job summary

Folioworks is seeking an online BSN nursing instructor to teach a pathophysiology course, leading asynchronous discussions and live synchronous lectures while supporting learners as a facilitator, coach, advisor, and role model.

The part-time position offers a remote, online teaching format with compensation ranging from $850 to $1,950 per earned credit hour, depending on education and experience, plus support from course coordinators and academic leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Unencumbered Illinois RN licensure is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to teach and support students in an academic nursing environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asynchronous discussions and weekly synchronous live lectures for online BSN students.
• Provide academic support, remediation, and timely responses to student questions by email, online conferencing, or telephone.
• Evaluate student performance and deliver documented feedback aligned with course objectives.
• Correct and return assignments, quizzes, tests, lab work, and other written coursework in a timely manner.
• Contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation across the college.
• Coordinate with course leadership, administration, and faculty regarding student and agency issues.
• Participate in assessment, retention, and policy implementation efforts.
• Model professionalism, collaboration, and effective communication for students and colleagues.
