Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Three years of legal practice experience; experience with paralegals or legal assistants.
• Ability to stay current in subject matter and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn online platforms and conduct virtual meetings with students.
• Licensed by a state bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage online courses.
• Teach courses via online live lectures to paralegal students.
• Develop and manage the class syllabus meeting department standards.
• Plan and create lectures, discussions, and assignments.
• Assess grades based on participation, performance, assignments, and examinations.
• Assist/mentor students as needed.
• Attend online paralegal program faculty meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
