Job summary

Johnson County Community College Online Order Specialist is sought to join the Finance & Administrative Services team. This part-time role processes customer orders on online platforms and ensures each order is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, with a 10:00 am–3:00 pm schedule (25 hours per week) and no hybrid arrangement. Starting pay ranges from $16.68 to $21.23 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify order details, including product specifications, quantities, and pricing.
• Process payment errors and backorders.
• Ship JCCC Amazon storefront purchases via third-party carriers daily.
• List and update online postings of merchandise for sale and maintain the Bookstore's website.
• Ensure textbooks and merchandise are listed on the JCCC Amazon storefront for sale, titles are current, and pricing is competitive.
• Maintain an accurate and organized customer database and order history.
• Communicate order status updates to customers and notify and address any delays or issues.
• Provide product inventory information and assistance to customers via phone, in person, or online.
