Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree and relevant technical training, certification, or experience in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge in the teaching field.
• Teaches courses online and adapts to different delivery methods, as needed and as reasonably requested by the College.
• Provides students with written expectations, including syllabi, policies, assignment instructions, graded evaluations, and other course materials.
• Administers tests and a comprehensive final exam measuring students’ grasp of course objectives.
• Fosters an inclusive learning environment and upholds academic honesty and objectivity.
• Prepares adequately for class and arrives promptly at class meetings, labs, and any scheduled instructional activities.
• Addresses student concerns via office hours, timely electronic communication, and other suitable means.
• Effectively handles routine procedures necessary for the successful day-to-day operation of the department, as delegated by the department chair.
