This role is part-time and focuses on delivering practitioner-focused education to undergraduate and graduate students through blended online and optional face-to-face interactions.

The candidate must hold an MSN or higher in nursing, with DNP/PhD preferred, and possess an active RN license plus APRN licensure in NJ/MD/LA and AGPCNP/AGACNP certification.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher required for nursing faculty.
• DNP or PhD in nursing preferred.
• Active RN license and APRN license required (NJ/MD/LA).
• Board certification AGPCNP and AGACNP required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides students with an approved Covista syllabus and course objectives.
• Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises all course materials.
• Uses online technologies and course-related software to deliver courses.
• Models effective oral and written communication to engage students.
• Sets clear course expectations and publishes assignment/exam dates.
• Ensures exam content aligns with objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Completes other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
