Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District pvONLINE program seeks a dedicated pvONLINE Academic Technician at North Canyon High School to supervise and monitor online learners in computer labs and support the implementation of online learning.

You will work closely with pvONLINE teachers and administration, enroll students in the learning management system, track progress and attendance, and communicate with teachers, counselors, parents and students to sustain engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; knowledge of current generation office software.
• Ability to schedule activities and manage data; communicate with diverse audiences.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing support for students in a self-paced online learning environment.
• Manages student enrollment and orientation in the learning management system.
• Assists students academically, motivating them to be successful.
• Monitors student progress and attendance.
• Acts as a liaison for pvONLINE with teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, parents and students.
• Connects, troubleshoots and works with other peripherals.
• Establishes and maintains good communication while acting as a liaison for pvONLINE with teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, parents and students.
• Manages student conduct and engagement in online learning.
• Attends training and professional development.
