Job summary

University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions to support instruction in hybrid and online formats across multiple departments. Qualifications

• Requires strong written and verbal communication; commitment to student-centered teaching.
• Experience with hybrid/online instruction is a plus.
• Prior college teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in on-campus, hybrid, or online modalities.
• Develop and deliver course materials aligned with approved UMES syllabi.
• Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assessments.
• Utilize the University LMS effectively.
• Participate in departmental meetings as appropriate.
• Support accreditation and quality improvement efforts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
