Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Aisles Online Shopper to accurately select high-quality groceries across departments for online orders. You will greet customers, maintain product quality, and ensure orders are fulfilled with care and precision while staying active and working independently in a fast-paced setting.

You will handle temperature-controlled items, scan and bag orders, and assist with substitutions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for customer service and helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer warmly and assisting them with their needs throughout the store.
• Accurately select groceries ordered online by customers, choosing the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
• Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
• Ensure products maintain proper temperature throughout the entire fulfillment process.
• Place gathered orders in storage at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly prior to the customer's arrival.
• Cart orders to and place them in the holding area for customer pickup.
• Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
• Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments.
• Substitute products for customers upon request or when items are unavailable.
• Continually monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
• Answer phones and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all department and company guidelines.
