Job description

Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to on-line shopping. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk working as In-Store Grocery Shopper is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' on-line orders efficiently, focusing on freshness and quality.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' on-line orders.
3. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars at pick-up.
4. Scan and bag orders following all standards, communicating any substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
5. Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
6. Adhere to all applicable laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
7. Receive and store orders from the Order Selector in appropriate temperature zones, ensuring quality and freshness.
8. Follow instructions in note sections accurately.
9. Maintain professionalism in communication with customers via portable phones.
10. Ensure order accuracy and load orders into customers' cars.
11. Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
12. Process orders through the POS system, handle substitutions appropriately, and keep staging areas organized and clean.
13. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
14. Perform opening and closing procedures and assist in training new team members.
15. Maintain productivity standards and work effectively in high-paced environments.
16. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
17. Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper, in warehouse, stocking, or cashier roles
