Job description

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders for customer pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

1. Responsible for selecting and gathering products for online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
2. Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
3. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver/load orders for customer pickup.
4. Scan and bag orders following bagging standards.
5. Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
6. Meet/exceed customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
7. Follow all relevant laws, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
8. Store products in appropriate temperature zones and ensure order accuracy.
9. Follow directions and note instructions carefully.
10. Ensure quality and freshness of all items.
11. Communicate professionally with customers via portable phone.
12. Load orders into customers' cars, ensuring correctness.
13. Provide excellent customer service to promote repeat business.
14. Process orders through the POS system.
15. Handle substitutions appropriately if items are out of stock.
16. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment.
17. Report discrepancies and equipment issues to management.
18. Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
19. Assist in training new team members.
20. Meet productivity standards and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
21. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
22. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
23. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

• Experience as a personal shopper, in production or warehouse environments, stocking, or cashier roles.
