Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars during pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping. In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection for online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes payments, and loads orders into customers' cars. The associate scans and bags orders following standards, communicates substitutions or issues, and ensures order accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities include adhering to safety and food handling laws, managing temperature zones, following directions, and maintaining cleanliness. The associate communicates with customers via phone, responds professionally, and provides excellent service to encourage repeat business.
Additional duties involve operating POS systems, managing stock levels, reporting discrepancies, maintaining equipment, and assisting in training new team members. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage conflicts cooperatively, act with integrity, and support vulnerable populations.
