Job summary

VP Racing seeks a Fulfillment Warehouse Worker to support outbound orders in a busy warehouse setting. You will pick/pack items, assist shipping/receiving, and verify orders against purchase and sales orders. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to keep inventory and order flow efficient for customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Basic math and computer skills (Outlook/MS Office) are required.

VP Racing seeks to fill the role of Online Fulfillment Warehouse Worker. The ideal candidate for this role will possess some Shipping & Receiving experience - picking/packing orders for shipment, familiarity with digital inventory systems, and basic computer knowledge of programs such as Outlook or Microsoft Office Suite. They should also be flexible, have the ability to multitask and be comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues via phone, email, and in-person. See further details below:

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 AM

TITLE: Fulfillment Warehouse Worker

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Department: Fulfillment

Reports to: Manager

POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fill orders as needed to meet vendor/customer requirements


• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching Purchase Orders to Sales Orders.


• Read Customer Orders, Work Orders Shipping Orders or Requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.


• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.


• Fill Requisitions, Work Orders, or Requests for Materials and distributes them to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.


• Assist in counting of physical inventory.


• Wear proper safety equipment.


• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.


• Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.


• Sweep, dust and mop warehouse as needed.


• Will be required to perform other warehouse duties as requested, directed or assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None.

Requirements

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: \

• Ability to maintain safe work environment.


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.


• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.


• HazMat Training is a plus.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree(GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires heavy lifting.


• Requires standing for 8-10 hours per day.


• Requires kneeling/ squatting for 4-6 hours per day.


• Requires bending/ stooping for 4-6 hours per day.


• Requires use of Pallet Jack to move palletized containers. Palletized containers weigh about 2,000 lbs.


• Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 36-55 lbs. from 2-4 hours per day.


• Requires regular lifting and carrying objects that weigh less than 15 lbs. from 8-10 hours per day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is performed in an outside warehouse environment.


• Exposure to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils and weather conditions.
