While a completed TEFL certification is essential for your application, if you don't have one yet, there's no need to worry. We provide an in-house, globally recognized 120-hour TEFL course, which is essential for building a successful career as an online English teacher. Position Details

Start Date: immediately upon completion of the recruitment process.

Teaching Hours: Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week!

Students: Adult professionals over the age of 18. Students are based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

Remuneration: Set base rate of 10 USD per hour.

Contract type: You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider.

Location: Work from the convenience of your home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deliver English lessons and guidance to students.
2. Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction & utilizing world-class teaching methods.
3. Lead discussions, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree or higher (Any field)
2. Completed, accredited 120-hour or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA
3. 6 Months teaching or tutoring experience
4. English first language speakers from USA/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand
5. Must be based in Central America, South America or South-East Asia (Mexico/Brazil/Cambodia/Thailand/Vietnam/Bali etc.)
6. Computer literate
7. Clear criminal record
8. Engaging and inspiring communication skills
9. Punctual and precise timekeeping
10. Available to fit into allocated teaching shift slots

Tech Requirements:

1. PC specifications:
   Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU @2.0GHz (8 CPUs) or greater.
   Memory: 8GB RAM or greater.
2. Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.
3. A stable fibre internet connection: At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds. PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection.
4. Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera: Backup headset is highly recommended. Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment.
