Online English / Subject Teacher starting at $32.50 CAD / Hour. We are looking for three teachers: science, novel studies, and general English/humanities. Preference is given to teachers with weekend availability.

Starting at $32.50 CAD / Hour
We are a growing company looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and reliable teachers.
Our teachers use authentic materials, such as storybooks, movies, and novels, to teach motivated youngsters from China.
We are currently looking for teachers who have experience teaching subjects:
1) Science (must have the ability to teach secondary and higher-level science courses)
2) Novel (must have the ability to teach lower and higher level texts)
3) General English/Humanities (must be able to teach secondary-level material)
Pay: $32.50 CAD/teaching hour to start. After 6 months, pay will increase to $33.50 CAD/teaching hour. After 12 months, pay will increase to $34.50 CAD/teaching hour. After 12 months, teachers will also be eligible for annual performance bonuses.
We also pay for trial classes.
Students: one or two students
Class Length: Classes are 30, 45, or 60 minutes long, depending on class type and student age.
Requirements
Native speaker with a bachelor’s degree and TESOL certification or higher.
Experienced in teaching young students, from ages 6-12
Be able to teach a minimum of 12 hours per week during our peak hours (6-9 pm BJT on weekdays and 9 am- 9 pm BJT on weekends). Preference is given to teachers with weekend availability.
High-speed internet connection, quiet place to teach, good quality webcam and microphone/headset.
Interested in ELL and language arts pedagogy, willingness to share ideas, and always striving to improve as a teacher.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of all ages. Teachers should be able to build rapport with the kids in order to provide a stress-free learning environment.
Teachers are responsible for their own lesson plans. We provide the materials, access to our resource library, lesson templates and examples. Teachers create and deliver their lessons in PowerPoint format.
Provide brief but regular feedback to parents regarding student progress and material covered..
