Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or closely related field; doctorate highly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching, educational leadership, or relevant experience.
• Prior online teaching experience in higher education preferred.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) and educational technology.
• Knowledge of effective online teaching practices and student engagement strategies.

Responsabilités

• Teach assigned online graduate education courses in accordance with approved curriculum and course outcomes.
• Facilitate student engagement through online discussions, instructional activities, and regular communication.
• Evaluate student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Maintain accurate course records, attendance, grades, and other documentation as required by the University.
• Utilize the University's learning management system and instructional technologies effectively.
• Support teacher candidates in meeting program, certification, and professional expectations.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with students, faculty, staff, and department leadership.
• Adhere to university policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development activities as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair or Director.
